Taiwanese PCB Makers See Better-than-expected May Revenues

Though it is the traditional low season for the PCB industry in the second quarter, six major PCB makers in Taiwan brought in better-than-expected revenues in May, according to Digitimes. Flexible PCB and PCB-like substrate maker Zhen Ding Technology Holding recorded May consolidated revenues of NT$6.784 billion ($227 million), growing 43.85% on year, while Flexium Interconnect posted consolidated sales of NT$1.676 billion, increasing 48.7% on year.
Rigid-flexible PCB and PCB-like substrate maker Unimicron Technology saw May consolidated revenues rise 16% on year to NT$5.6 billion, while Tripod Technology posted May consolidated revenues of NT$4.434 billion, up by 24% on-year. For its part, Unitech Printed Circuit Board recorded consolidated revenues of NT$1.536 billion for May, increasing by 19.7% year-on-year, according to the report.
