Gardien Group Earns ISO 9001:2015 Certification
October 30, 2018 | Gardien GroupEstimated reading time: 2 minutes
Gardien Group is happy to share the good news with everyone who helped us in our successful journey that we have been awarded the ISO 9001:2015 certification.
A worldwide accepted accreditation, the ISO 9001:2015 is the most up to date certification available and one that recognizes the standards required for quality management systems. Published in September 2015, it places significantly higher requirements on businesses than the previous versions, focusing more on performance.
This accreditation asserts our ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer requirements and conform to regulatory and statutory requirements. Gardien places huge emphasis on designing, developing and enhancing new products, services and technologies. The ISO 9001:2015 certification reiterates this aspect.
The certification was received after rigorous external audits of our business processes and product quality, performed by independent registrars and carried out in our offices in Canada, China, Japan, Taiwan and the United States.
“In late 2017, we at the Gardien Group took a step forward to focus on the implementation of the ISO 9001:2015 standard. To that effect, we consolidated and aligned all QMS processes throughout our global locations. We now have one comprehensive, multi-lingual Quality Policies Manual which creates synergies between all our locations worldwide. The tracking of all QMS processes and KPIs has been simplified and centralized under the Gardien proprietary system, aptly named OnTrack. The global sharing of knowledge, stable processes and consistencies from location to location has made the system seamless in operation. Our clients now have the ability to effortlessly transfer their products and jobs across any of our facilities throughout the globe,” commented Rick Meraw, Gardien’s vice president of quality/R&D.
“Quality is crucial for us at the Gardien Group. The ISO 9001:2015 certification is testament to that fact and demonstrates our strong commitment to offer high quality standards to our esteemed customers. We are continually enhancing our systems to meet today’s rapidly changing product requirements and increasing quality demands. OnTrack is a result of this very commitment. It is a consolidated process, which synchronizes all our locations – effortlessly handling all relevant data and documents,” said Group Chief Operating Office Roland Valentini, who is very proud of the accreditation.
“This certification requires an investment of time and commitment. To get this certification, each company must invest a lot of time and commitment. We have made the transition from ISO 9001:2008 to ISO 9001:2015 in a very short span and full credit for this spectacular achievement goes to our competent team members, who work tirelessly ensuring quality and processes are always maintained. At Gardien, we take pride in what we do,” Valentini continued.
Gardien would like to take this opportunity to extend our gratitude to our clients for their continued support and loyalty. We truly believe that our success depends on your success.
