October 6, 2021 | CalcuQuoteEstimated reading time: 1 minute

CalcuQuote customers will benefit from the inclusion of NAC Semi, a global electronic component design service and distributor, into the CalcuQuote ecosystem designed for electronics contract manufacturers.
“NAC Semi is pleased that we found CalcuQuote. We were introduced to them by one of our EMS customers. We are eager to have our component inventory data included on their platform. In today’s market finding new reliable component sources is at the top of every one’s priority list,” says Joe Sanders, VP of Strategic Sales for NAC Semi. “Whether customers are looking for alternates or just a new reliable source for an existing part on their AVL, CalcuQuote on-line BOM quoting tools help NAC meet them and solve their component sourcing needs.”
EMS companies will have access to a diverse inventory of components from both catalog houses as well as large fulfillment distributors through the partnership with NAC Semi. With NAC’s specialization in solutions for selling and demand-creation distribution services, CalcuQuote customers can expect an enhanced but mutually beneficial partnership, allowing customers another resource for accessing the components they need in real-time.
“NAC Semi fills an important need for many of our customers and we are excited to be moving the EMS industry forward together. Their ability to provide further component sourcing is crucial, especially amidst the current component shortage,“ says Chintan Sutaria, President and CEO of CalcuQuote. “Supply chain digitization and transparency are a win-win for everyone, because they create a more connected partnership, improves agility and increases efficiency.”

UHDI Fundamentals: UHDI Drives Unique IoT Innovation in Farming
04/22/2025 | Anaya Vardya, American Standard CircuitsThe combination of UHDI's high-bandwidth capabilities and IoT's real-time data processing can lead to more efficient, immersive, and smarter IoT systems. This convergence of two revolutionary technologies is enabling quantum advancements in some very “unconventional” applications. The typical discussions around UHDI focus on our standard electronics industry market segments like milaero, medical, consumer electronics, etc. IoT is all about machines talking to other machines, machine learning, and artificial intelligence, but again, typically applied in our PCB and assembly operations.
