Accurate Circuit Engineering Invests in DIS Optical Alignment System
February 7, 2022 | Accurate Circuit Engineering (ACE)Estimated reading time: Less than a minute

Accurate Circuit Engineering (ACE), an industry leader in high speed, high technology prototype PCB manufacturing with an emphasis in RF, Microwave and Hybrid technology, has recently acquired and put online the DIS PRS L/U ADV optical alignment system.
“The DIS unit is one of many augmentations ACE has integrated into our manufacturing line that further enhances our ability to build multi-sequential laminations using a plethora of advanced materials while eliminating alignment issues,” stated James Hofer, general manager. “This is an important step in increasing the overall use our material selection expertise.”
Benefits the DIS system brings to the ACE process include:
- No need to pre-stack; eliminating possible damage to the cores
- Locked camera position, resulting in greater accuracy
- Software to mistake proof the build from out of sequence cores
- No templates required, process all panel sizes without changing parts
- Loading core and prepreg at the same time
- Programmable weld profiles, including ramp up, hold time and cool down.
- Fully compatible for future upgrading
With over 20,000 sq ft in Santa Ana, CA, ACE has been serving the electronics industry for over 30 years.
