TAGARNO to Unveil the First Digital Microscope with 4K/60 Camera at productronica
October 11, 2023 | TagarnoEstimated reading time: 1 minute
TAGARNO, a leading provider of digital microscopes, is set to revolutionize the industry with the release of the world's first digital microscope featuring a 4K camera with an unprecedented 60 frames per second. The groundbreaking innovation will be officially unveiled in Booth A1, Stand 160 at productronica, scheduled to take place Nov. 14–17, 2023 at the Trade Fair Center Messe München.
TAGARNO’s latest offering is a result of a collaboration with SONY, utilizing their cutting-edge 4K Sony FCB-ER9500 model. While there are digital microscopes with 4K resolution already available on the market, they typically operate at a frame rate of 30 frames per second. This limitation causes a noticeable lag between the actual microscope view and what is displayed on the monitor, leading to discomfort and reduced efficiency for users.
Recognizing the importance of a seamless and lag-free viewing experience, TAGARNO has waited until the technology caught up with their vision. The new digital microscope boasting a 4K/60 camera eliminates the lag, ensuring real-time visualization and enhancing productivity for professionals working with microscopic inspection.
“We are proud to announce the world's first digital microscope with a 4K/60 camera and to once again partner with SONY,” said Anders Ravnskjær Pedersen, Head of R&D at TAGARNO. “We have a long history with SONY and have used SONY cameras since we introduced the world's first HD digital microscope in 2009. By once again partnering with SONY, we have successfully overcome the challenges associated with previous iterations of 4K microscopes. Our new solution offers unparalleled clarity, precision, cutting-edge technology, and real-time viewing, allowing users to work efficiently without any distractions or discomfort while obtaining an extraordinary user experience.”
The TAGARNO digital microscope with a 4K/60 camera will be showcased at productronica, one of the world's leading trade fairs for electronics manufacturing and assembly. Attendees will have the opportunity to experience firsthand the remarkable capabilities and benefits of this groundbreaking technology.
“productronica is the perfect platform to introduce this game-changing innovation to the industry,” added Pedersen. “We are excited to share this milestone achievement with professionals in the field and demonstrate how our new digital microscope will significantly enhance their inspection processes, accuracy, and overall efficiency.”
