Valor Bolsters R&D, Distribution

YAVNE, Israel Valor Computerized Systems Ltd. appointed as VP of R&D Meir Zelzer, formerly of SAP. The company also named GATEline AB as its distribution representative to the Nordic region.
Zelzer joined Valor from SAP, where he served as senior development vice president, managing the user-interaction division of Netweaver. He also held positions with TopTier and TesCom. Zelzer has a bachelor's in mathematics and computer science from Tel Aviv University (Israel).
GATEline AB, based in Sweden, will distribute Valor's electronics design platforms to the EDA market in Sweden, Norway, and Finland. The company has distributed design software for nearly 25 years, and is expanding its offerings into related products, such as ePLM. It also is establishing partnerships in PCB and manufacturing sectors, said Hans Lundberg, president and CEO, GATEline AB.
