Five Star Releases Silver-bearing Pastes
October 4, 2007 |Estimated reading time: Less than a minute
CLEVELAND Five Star Technologies introduced ElectroSperse silver-based conductive pastes for low-firing applications, as low as 380°C. The X-120, X-122, and X-126 are silver based, with uniform dispersion and low- to sub-micron particles.
The pastes adhere to indium/tin-oxide (ITO) and fluorine-doped tin-oxide (F-doped TO) surface finishes when fired at 380°500°C. X-126 offers a rheology tailored to syringe dispensing with extrusion, while X-120 and X-122 suit screen printing. The products reportedly boast high conductivity, with sheet resistivity at 23 mΩ/sq.
Uses include electrode applications where components are sensitive to firing temperature, such as ceramic component, display electrodes, heater circuits, and antennae. The X-120 enables fine-feature printing for precision applications.
