BTU Adds Barcode Traceability
October 3, 2007 |Estimated reading time: Less than a minute
NORTH BILLERICA, Mass. BTU International Inc. added barcode support to its WinCon Windows-based control system for handheld and fixed scanners as well as automated systems.
The barcode implementation targets full product traceability during assembly, as well as heightened process control, said Rob DiMatteo, product manager, BTU's electronics assembly products. It can verify that the correct recipe is running on equipment, and will sound an alarm is processes are out of spec.
