PLEASANT PRAIRIE, Wisc. A series of edge-carry transfer units for PCB conveyance from PROMATION allows for customized product lines.
The BC-60 and BC-100 reportedly offer industry-standard ESD edge-belt systems with a variety of features that enable customized product lines. Both products are the latest additions to the company's E-Series line. The ESD edge belt on both systems measures 3-mm wide and can handle PCBs up to 18" wide.
Features include a programmable logic controller, an AC belt-drive motor, an ESD green belt that is -80°C temperature-rated, variable operator controls, and an ESD front work surface. Process flow can be left to right, or right to left. The difference between the BC-60 and BC-100 is in the belt drive a single 1-M drive on the BC-60, optional dual 500-mm drives on the BC-100. The dual-drive model is equipped with inspect/pass controls with foot and hand release.
