Villemejane Retires from Speedline
July 9, 2007 |Estimated reading time: Less than a minute
FRANKLIN, Mass. Pierre de Villemejane, president and CEO, will retire from Speedline Technologies for personal reasons. Joe Hahn, group vice president, electronics group, for parent company Illinois Tool Works Inc. (ITW), will fulfill Villemejane's duties in interim.
Villemejane will leave the company on July 18. ITW is performing a search for a permanent replacement. Until a replacement president and CEO is named, Hahn will support the existing management and staff at Speedline and provide guidance in the company, according to Keith Favre, vice president, marketing and business development, Speedline.
Hahn is a long-term ITW employee and has run multiple companies in his tenure. He has been actively involved with Speedline, and, therefore, is familiar with the company's operations. "Speedline will not miss a step in the transition from Pierre de Villemejane to Joe Hahn, as he is currently effective as part of Speedline's management," adds Favre.
