Step Leasing Introduced for Pick-and-Place Platform
May 22, 2007 |Estimated reading time: Less than a minute
BINGHAMTON, N.Y. Universal Instruments introduced a step leasing program, allowing customers to build an AdVantis system and pay for the capital investment over time.
The company refers to the lease program as a way to enhance production, replacing aging, out-dated, or under-performing equipment to boost throughput and placement capability at EMS and OEM facilities. The program is flexible, incorporating the AdVantis pick-and-place platform, component feeders, and software tools. The AC-30L machine includes Lightning Head technology to enhance speeds and placement range, while the AI-42e platform in the AdVantis family places odd-form and fine-pitch components.
