Mentor Graphics Appoints CFO

WILSONVILLE, Ore. Mentor Graphics Corporation named Maria M. Pope vice president and chief financial officer (CFO), responsible for treasury, tax, accounting, internal audit, corporate development, and investor relationships. She also will manage facilities and purchasing.
Pope will report to Mentor Graphics president Gregory K. Hinckley. With more than 20 years experience in finances and operations, Pope has served with Pope & Talbot, Inc.; Levi Strauss & Co.; and Morgan Stanley & Co. She is an executive committee member and chairs the audit committee with Premera Blue Cross, and serves on financial and audit boards at Portland General Electric Company. Pope holds an MBA from Stanford and a BA from Georgetown University.
