Aluminum Label Stock Suits Thermal Transfer Printing
May 12, 2006 |Estimated reading time: Less than a minute
WESTMORELAND, N.H. — The XF-803 aluminum label material with permanent pressure-sensitive adhesive and high-opacity, white topcoat designed for thermal transfer printing on aluminum labels is now available from Polyonics Inc.
XF-803 is designed for barcode and alphanumeric identification of metal items up to 600°C. It is said to withstand high temperatures encountered in heat treating, annealing, rolling, and other high-temperature operations in metals manufacturing.
Barcode labels reportedly lower costs, boost quality, and control inventories across many industries, and eliminate hazards and errors experienced with stamping, hot chalking, or using paint for marking.
