Selective Soldering
December 31, 1969 |Estimated reading time: Less than a minute
The KISS 101 and 102 selective soldering systems feature lead-free-compatible solder pots for assembly, prototyping, rework, post-reflow offline assembly, and other selective soldering applications such as odd-form devices. Both systems are bench-top models with optional carriages for standalone use. A dual-head fluxing system on the KISS 102 makes it possible to change flux types quickly, complementing faster solder pot changeover times. KISS 101 features analog controls, and provides flexibility for quick-turn rework or light assembly facilities. Both models are suitable for PCB sizes from 2 × 2" up to 18 × 24", and connectors up to 10" long. KISS 102 is a fully automated machine that uses a traveling mini-solder wave, eliminating operator-dependent soldering with a flexible molten solder delivery system. A.C.E.
