January 4, 2005 |Estimated reading time: Less than a minute
ORLANDO, Fla. and NATICK, Mass. — In-Sight 5100C high-resolution (1024 x 768) vision sensor from Cognex performs a wide range of color inspection tasks, such as use in the automotive industry to identify motor camshafts by color, and in the electronics industry to verify the correct position of color LEDs at electrical test stations.
This self-contained, industrial-grade vision sensor meets IEC specifications for shock and vibration, and achieves an IP67 (NEMA 6) rating for dust and wash-down protection without the need for a separate industrial enclosure. Features include a vision spreadsheet interface and In-Sight Explorer software, providing advanced tools to simplify application development and network administration.
