Despatch Industries Appoints IR Processing Group Leader
November 5, 2004 |Estimated reading time: Less than a minute
Minneapolis, Minn.—Despatch Industries announces that it has named Carson Richert to lead its Infrared (IR) Processing group. The appointment adds to Despatch's IR engineering and sales team and reportedly strengthens the company's position in the IR thermal processing market.
Richert has been said to be a pioneer in IR thermal processing technology, having co-founded Radiant Technology Corp. in 1972. At Despatch, he will help lead the company's IR efforts, which complement its position in convection-based technology.
"It is a pleasure to welcome Richert to the Despatch team," says Patrick Peyton, Despatch chairman and CEO. "Our customers increasingly require cleaner environments and faster ramp-up times to accelerate their processes. They also demand more precise temperature control and uniformity. IR technology is well suited for those requirements, and I know Richert's contributions will be critical in meeting customers' expectations."
"I'm very excited to join Despatch and continue my work developing IR solutions for the world's most successful companies," says Richert. "Despatch is committed to the success of its customers, and I look forward to furthering the company's mission around the world."
