Solectron Receives Teradata's 2004 Supplier Excellence Award

Milpitas, Calif.—Solectron Corporation, a provider of electronics manufacturing and supply chain services, announces that it has been awarded Teradata's 2004 Supplier Excellence Award for superior execution and supply chain service. Teradata is a division of NCR Corp.
"Solectron's focus on low-cost, high-quality flexible solutions has helped us meet our revenue objectives and improve customer satisfaction," says Bruce A. Langos, VP of business operations at NCR. "We thank our Solectron team for its outstanding performance."
Solectron provides Teradata with new product introduction (NPI), printed circuit board assembly (PCBA), systems build and integration, direct fulfillment, final configuration, and enclosure assembly for Teradata's enterprise server and storage system. Solectron provides service through a network of Solectron locations in order to build a cost-effective, response-oriented supply chain, including:
*Worldwide integration and fulfillment services from Columbia, S.C.
*PCBA NPI services from Charlotte, N.C.
*PCBA production services from Guadalajara, Mexico.
