Fairchild Names New VP of Sales and Marketing for Europe

South Portland, Maine — Fairchild Semiconductor announces the promotion of Ole-Petter Brusdal to vice president of sales and marketing for Europe.
Based at Fairchild's Global Power Resourcedesign center and sales office in Fuerstenfeldbruck, Germany, Brusdal will direct all sales and marketing activities in Europe.He will report to Tom Beaver, Fairchild's executive vice president, worldwide sales and marketing.
Brusdal joined Fairchild when the company was established in 1997 and has held various sales and marketing positions supporting segments and geographic territories in Europe and the Americas. His 18-year career includes previously working for companies such as National Semiconductor and Tahonic (Arrow).
