Watlow Hires McCaskill as Managing Director for Asia Region

St. Louis — Watlow has appointed Dean McCaskill as managing director for the Asia region.
McCaskill will oversee sales and operations in Japan, Singapore, Taiwan and other Asian markets served by Watlow, and will report directly to Peter Desloge, Watlow president and CEO.
McCaskill will supervise the general managers of Singapore, Taiwan and Korea, the manager of the Watlow Asia Engineering production facility in Singapore, as well as the director of sales for the Asia region. In coming months, he will be assessing current structures and product/market positions, recommending appropriate strategies to move these businesses forward. He also will be responsible for assessing opportunities in the region, devising the most appropriate methods to serve and achieve greater penetration in the rapidly expanding China market.
