Telrad Networks Selects Agilent's Automated X-ray Test System
March 26, 2004 |Estimated reading time: Less than a minute
Palo Alto, Calif. — Agilent Technologies Inc. announces that Telrad Networks, a global leader in telecommunications infrastructure deployment, has selected the Agilent 5DX Series automated X-ray test system to create a complete test solution for its complex printed circuit board assemblies (PCAs).
The Agilent 5DX provides the industry-leading fault coverage and higher quality needed for testing complex PCAs used in next-generation telecommunications systems, such as switches, routers and media gateways.
The Agilent 5DX finds defects in solder joints, resulting in higher end-product quality and lower warranty repair and scrap costs. The system achieves more than 90 percent fault coverage, making it the industry's most effective solution for defect containment and post reflow.
