SOLDERTEC Wins Prestigious Environmental Award

UK -- SOLDERTEC has been awarded a Green Apple Award by the Green Organization in their annual national campaign to find Britain's greenest companies.
SOLDERTEC, part of Tin Technology, was recognized for its achievement in driving forward developments in lead-free soldering through work at its lead-free technology center, and, for raising awareness of the issue at home and abroad.
The Green Apple Awards are organized by the Green Organization and are supported by the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health, making it one of Britain's major environmental award schemes. The awards are given to organizations in recognition of their environmental efforts and to those who are making an effort to preserve and protect the environment for generations to come.
The Green Organization is an independent, non-political, non-activist, non-profit environment group dedicated to recognizing and promoting environmental best practice.
