Montgomery has more than 44 years of professional experience in the electronics industry. The most recent 33 years, Montgomery has specialized in electronic industry forecasting and planning. He is a senior life member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and member of the International Society for Optical Engineering (SPIE) and the Optical Society of America (OSA).
