GE Fanuc Automation to Acquire Intellution from Emerson

Charlottesville, Va. and Foxboro, Mass. -- GE Fanuc Automation North America Inc., an affiliate of the General Electric Co., has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Intellution Inc., a division of Emerson Process Management, an Emerson business.
The transaction, which is subject to government approvals and other customary conditions, is expected to close in the near future. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
