Alameda, Calif. -- As quickly as traditional contract manufacturing has grown (on average 25 percent per year since the 1970s), alternative outsourcing modes are now growing even faster, according to Technology Forecasters Inc.'s Quarterly Forum for Electronics Manufacturing Outsourcing and Supply Chain.
