Haigh-Farr Selects Agilent Technologies Advanced Design System

Haigh-Farr design engineers use ADS' modeling simulation capabilities to gain insight on how new product designs will function in their eventual operating environments.
Phoenix -- Duraswitch has received U.S. Patent No. 6,392,515, covering a magnetically coupled pushbutton switch for large and wide key applications.Based on some of the same principles as the original Duraswitch PushGate pushbutton switch, this invention allows for uniform actuation force and feedback across oversized buttons. Potential applications for this technology include industrial keyboards, vending machines, exercise equipment panels, emergency stop buttons, and octane buttons on gas pumps.
