Seika Machinery Receives Top Global Distributor Award for McDry Cabinets
March 17, 2016 | Seika MachineryEstimated reading time: 1 minute
Seika Machinery, Inc., a leading provider of advanced machinery, materials and engineering services, is pleased to announce that it received the award for ‘McDry Top Distributor 2010-2015’ from ERC., Co., Ltd. Ban Saito of ERC Co., Ltd. presented the award to Michelle Ogihara during Seika’s award ceremony that took place Wednesday, March 16 at 9 a.m. in Seika Machinery’s booth on the show floor.
“McDry Electronic Drying Storage Cases have been the premier line of desiccant-based dry cabinets for electronics assembly since their debut in the U.S. more than 20 years ago,” said Michelle Ogihara, Seika Machinery’s Senior Sales Manager. “It is an honor to receive this top sales award from the manufacturer of McDry and we are proud to be the agent for such a high-quality product that is relied upon by a majority of our important customers.”
McDry dry boxes, dry cabinets and desiccators provide optimal ultra-low humidity and moisture-proof storage for IC packages. Moisture-sensitive components – when safely and properly stored in McDry – have an indefinite floor-life and micro-cracking or pop-corning during the reflow process is not an issue.
Other storage applications for McDry include original prints, printed wiring boards (PWBs), polymide film, tape reels, feeders and various electronic components and materials. McDry cabinets conform to IPC/JEDEC J-STD 033C and IPC 1601 Guidelines.
