Rocket EMS Names Marla Sanchez CEO and Executive Director

Rocket EMS today announces the appointment of Marla Sanchez as CEO and Executive Director. She Sanchez will succeed Craig Acuri, who is no longer with the company.
"Rocket is uniquely positioned as a high value manufacturer of complex boards in the Silicon Valley area. I’m very excited about the opportunity as we focus the talent of the team on key growth opportunities that are now available to Rocket," Sanchez commented.
Sanchez has BS and MS degrees from Stanford University and an MBA from Santa Clara University. Her professional experience has primarily focused upon business processes and operational finance, at several high tech companies, such as Motorola, AMD, VLSI, and SDL. Sanchez served as the CFO at Avanex prior to founding InSite Partners, a high-tech investment firm. She has also served on several Boards.
Dr. Jo S. Major is joining the Board of Rocket as Chairman. "I am eager to help guide Rocket to a new level of success and look forward to working with such an experienced team," commented Dr. Major. "InSite welcomes the opportunity to collaborate with Rocket on new opportunities and to broaden the relationship between the two companies."
Dr. Major has an extensive record of global integration and restructuring. This experience includes internal and acquisition expertise in product development and introduction, especially with regard to driving the development of highly differentiated products from the design stage to manufacturing.
