Tripod Sells Factory and Land in China

Taiwan-based Tripod Technology, a PCB manufacturer catering to PCs, mobile devices, automotive electronics, servers and networking equipment, had sold a factory and land located in the Zhejiang province of China for RMB73.99 million ($10.7 million), according to a Digitimes report. The company estimated it will recognize a gain of NT$129 million ($4.2 million) from the sale.
In China, Tripod has plants in Wuxi, Jiangsu province and Xiantao, Hubei. The company also has a production site in Taoyuan, northern Taiwan.
