Plexus has announced the completion of its annual Bringing Employee Successes Together (B.E.S.T.) Competition. During the 2017 global competition, 14 teams of Plexus employees from across the world competed to determine the “best” innovative project of the year. A key element of the competition is giving back to the finalists’ charity of choice and as a result, a total of $40,000 was donated to 14 charities globally.
Steve Frisch, executive vice president and chief operating officer, commented, “The annual B.E.S.T. competition has become a hallmark event for Plexus employees. Teams from all of our sites have the opportunity to showcase their ingenuity while supporting causes that they are passionate about. I am extremely proud of the Plexus teams that competed this year. Their commitment to continuously improve and share best practices across the enterprise is a testament to the innovative culture we promote at all Plexus sites.”
Competition winners were selected at a site and regional level, with the winning team from each region advancing to a global competition held at Plexus’ Global Headquarters in Neenah, Wisconsin. The competition includes all aspects of Plexus’ business, from manufacturing and engineering to each of our corporate service centers. Participants from each global finalist team received rewards and recognition for their accomplishments. Forty-two charities worldwide have benefited since the inception of the Plexus B.E.S.T. competition in 2014.
During the 2017 B.E.S.T. competition global finalist teams made donations to a local charity of their choosing, which included:
- American Red Cross

- Determined to Outfox Parkinson’s in New York
