Orbotech Wins Most Successful Business Accomplishment of the Year Award

Orbotech Ltd. was awarded "Most Successful Business Accomplishment of the Year" for its acquisition of SPTS Technologies. Calcalist and BDO held the competition, which is in its third year, focusing on long-term business achievements that were initiated several years ago and are now reaching full maturity and achieving their aims.
Orbotech’s acquisition of SPTS opened up new markets for the company, in particular advanced packaging. Thanks to the unique offering of Orbotech’s three divisions – Printed Circuit Boards division, Flat Panel Display division and the new Semiconductor division - the company succeeded in doubling its revenues from $440 million in 2013 to a forecast of approximately $900 million in 2017.
In accepting the award, Asher Levy, CEO of Orbotech, explained “Orbotech was founded more than 30 years ago.
