Solder manufacturer Amerway Inc. provides solder pot analysis, bath testing, and other metals analysis services to ensure optimum quality control, aided by its state-of-the-art metals analyzer, the SPECTROMAXx system. SPECTROMAXx is from SPECTRO, one of the leading suppliers of analytical instruments, employing optical emission (Arc/Spark OES, ICP-OES) and X-ray fluorescence spectrometry (XRF) technology.

Its testing covers 10 matrices, 65 methods and 54 elements with only one sample. The principle is optical emission spectroscopy (arc spark OES or spark OES). There are currently more than 10,000 SPECTROMAXx systems operating worldwide.
