Gardien Group has named Masayuki Komatsu vice president in Japan.
Komatsu, former production manager, was promoted to VP of Gardien Japan in December. Komatsu joined the company as a part-time test operator 33 years ago and has stayed in various capacities ever since.
“I feel honoured and feel the weight of responsibility at the same time," Komatsu said. "Also, I appreciate the local and global team. What is more, my industry experience will contribute to providing solutions that further fit the customer and strive to improve customer satisfaction. “
Keeping the upcoming challenges in mind, Komatsu added, “I do not forget the heart of appreciation. I would like to do my best with the help of teams inside and outside, customers and business partners.”
When asked about the changes at Gardien Japan, Group COO Roland Valentini said, "I am thrilled that Mr. Komatsu, one of our own, has accepted the role of vice president of Gardien Japan. Given his depth of knowledge in the area of electrical test and associated services I believe having him will deliver tremendous additional value to our customers.”
