Eagle Electronics Purchases Orbotech Fusion 20 AOI Machine
May 14, 2018 | Eagle ElectronicsEstimated reading time: 1 minute
Mike Kalaria, president and CEO of Eagle Electronics of Schaumburg, Illinois announced recently that his company has installed a new Orbotech Fusion 20 automated optical inspection (AOI) machine.
Eagle has seen significant growth over the past several years. This year’s growth is the strongest they have seen in more than 20 years. In order to assure they meet this continued expansion in business, they have made another investment in automated inspection equipment.
Commenting on this equipment Mr. Kalaria stated, “We are very careful to assure we have the right equipment to support our growing business. Our product mix has continued to expand into higher layer count product as well as an overall increase in domestic production needs. This has driven Eagle to invest in additional AOI equipment. AOI is vital in product inspection at the earliest stages by validating adherence to the electrical design. We are thrilled to see a return to domestic production needs in North America and we are strategically adding equipment to meet this expansion.”
Eagle’s unwavering commitment to meet customer demand and provide the best total value in the industry is once again evident in this newest addition.
