Beyond the Rulebook
What happens when the rule book is no longer useful, or worse, was never written in the first place? In today’s fast-moving electronics landscape, we’re increasingly asked to design and build what has no precedent, no proven path, and no tidy checklist to follow. This is where “Design for Invention” begins.
March Madness
From the growing role of AI in design tools to the challenge of managing cumulative tolerances, these articles in this issue examine the technical details, design choices, and manufacturing considerations that determine whether a board works as intended.

American Standard to Exhibit at 2018 International Microwave Symposium
June 5, 2018 | American Standard CircuitsEstimated reading time: 2 minutes
American Standard Circuits will be exhibiting at this year’s International Microwave Symposium, to be held at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania from Tuesday, June 12, to Thursday, June 14.
“As the demand for RF microwave PCBs grows, so does our involvement in this technology. In fact, it is our goal to ultimately be considered the market leaders in this RF/microwave when it comes to independently owed PCB fabricators. We are especially excited to attend this year’s symposium because of our recently released e-book, The Printed Circuit Board Designer’s Guide…to Fundamentals of RF/Microwave PCBs. We look forward to meeting with any company that has a need for RF/Microwave PCBs,” said Anaya Vardya, CEO of American Standard Circuits.
American Standard Circuits invites all attendees to visit them at the show in booth 1055.
