FPCB Maker Flexium to Kick Off 5G Transmission Module Shipments in Q3 2018

Taiwan flexible PCB (FPCB) maker Flexium Interconnect will gradually deliver shipments of 5G-related products in the third quarter of 2018, which is expected to serve the firm's new revenue growth driver for the second half of the year, according to a Digitimes report.
Arthur Hsiung, Flexium's chief finance officer, said the company’s investments in the development of new technologies and products associated with 5G communication applications will gradually pay off in the second half of 2018. The Digitimes report added that the company's communication management modules and high-frequency wireless transmission modules developed with new materials will enter volume production in the third quarter and will be incorporated into high-tier smartphones and notebooks.
