Hong Kong FPCB Maker Compass Shifting Operations to Xiamen

As a veteran flexible PCB maker, Hong Kong-based Compass Technology has made moves that will relocate its headquarters to Xiamen, a booming IT hub in the southeast coast of China, according to Digitimes.
In May 2018, Compass formed a joint venture with Xiamen Semiconductor Investment Group. The new entity, Xiamen Compass Semiconductor, will then fully acquire Compass as its subsidiary. Compass has plans to set up a plant in the Xiamen Haicang Information Technology Industrial Park, with a monthly production capacity of three million FPCBs, the report adds.
