PCB Maker HannStar Board Profits Surge in H1 2018

Taiwan-based PCB manufacturer HannStar Board has reported operating profits of NT$738 million (US$24.1 million) in the first half of 2018, surging by 63.6% from a year earlier, according to Digitimes. Consolidated revenues grew 14.3% on quarter to NT$20.64 billion.
HannStar Board makes PCBs for PCs and network equipment, as well as set-top box, server and TV applications. Revenues generated from the PC and network equipment markets collectively accounted for around 60% of the PCB firm's total revenues in 2017, Digitimes reports.
