Tripod Tech H1 Revenue Up 16% YoY

PCB firm Tripod Technology has reported consolidated revenues of NT$24.27 billion ($789.59 million) for the first half of 2018, up by about 16% year-on-year, while gross margin slipped 1.13pp to 16.72%, according to a Digitimes report. The company collected NT$2.01 billion in operating profits, down 3.9% from the same period in 2017.
Tripod Tech's consolidated revenues increased 19.8% from a year ago to NT$12.74 billion in the second quarter of 2018, while gross margin fell 1.47pp on year to 16.99%. The company generated operating profits of NT$1.16 billion in the second quarter, up 0.2% from the same period in 2017.
