Techsil Limited, following its acquisition of aerospace and defense industry suppliers M-tec in May 2017, have now fully merged and M-tec is trading under the Techsil banner.
Formed in 1983 by Smiths Industries, M-tec Limited was specifically set up to deal with the aerospace and defence market where certification and lot traceability are essential. M-tec specialises in supplying aerospace adhesives, gaskets, o-rings, paints and lubricants.
Techsil Ltd is a global supplier of industrial RTV silicones, adhesives, sealants, encapsulants, conformal coatings, tapes and dispensing equipment to a wide range of manufacturing industries including aerospace, automotive, medical, electronics and LED lighting.
Further management changes include M.D. Paul Hughes moving to the position of Group Company Chairman and Chris Dilley stepping into the role of managing director.
“This is an exciting time for Techsil, our core business is growing and we have had an exceptional year. The benefits of combining these two complementary companies was compelling. With M-tec coming under the Techsil umbrella we can enjoy operational benefits that were not possible when trading separately.
Techsil and M-tec supply products from a number of leading manufacturers with whom we have established close relationships over many years, and therefore are able to provide our customers with an excellent level of service together with full technical back up,” said Chris Dilley.
