CCL Cake and Curry Event Raises £261.44 for Macmillan Cancer Support
October 3, 2018 | CCLEstimated reading time: Less than a minute

On Friday, September 8, across the UK, companies hosted tea parties and bake sales as part of Macmillan Cancer Support’s ‘World’s Biggest Coffee Morning.’ Excess Inventory management company, CCL, were no exception taking it one step further by extending it to a two-day event in efforts to raise as much money as possible for the charity.
On the Friday, members from sales, warehouse, marketing and export compliance donated their variety of bakes. These proved hugely popular not only with the CCL team but with businesses from all over Heathpark Industrial Estate.
A weekend to recover and Monday saw the second event, a curry lunch cooked by Sales manager Kasper. The team enjoyed an alfresco dining experience attracting yet more companies from around the estate to encourage those final few donations. A last count-up confirmed the total amount raised to be £261.44, all proceeds going to Macmillan Cancer Support and the great work they do.
