Meiko to Expand SLP Production Capacity to Satisfy Samsung Orders

Japan's Meiko Electronics has reportedly obtained major substrate-like PCB (SLP) orders from Samsung Electronics for its Galaxy devices, and plans to build additional SLP production lines at its manufacturing site in Vietnam this year, Digitimes reports.
Meiko is rivaling Taiwan's Zhen Ding Technology and Austria's AT&S in the SLP field—both of which are making SLPs for the iPhones.
Zhen Ding, meanwhile, is reportedly planing to build additional new SLP production lines at its factory site in China.
