Tripod Tech Posts 30% Profit Jump in 1Q19

PCB manufacturer Tripod Technology has reported net profit surged by 30.5% from a year earlier to NT$1.08 billion ($34.7 million) in the first quarter of 2019, with EPS coming to NT$2.05, according to Digitimes.
But Tripod remains cautious about its performance in the second quarter. Unfavorable global trade conditions and fewer working days in China during May will affect negatively Tripod's revenues for the quarter, the company continued.
