KYZEN, the global leader in innovative environmentally friendly cleaning chemistries, is pleased to announce that Chelsea Jewell, application lab manager, has been selected to the Products Finishing 40-Under-40 class for 2019. Jewell was recognized at the NASF Sur/Fin show on June 4, 2019 in Chicago.
Young professionals are vital to the finishing industry, and it is important to acknowledge those making strides in shaping the industry's future. Products Finishing is recognizing the industry's young talent through its annual 40-Under-40 awards program.
Jewell develops and evaluates cleaning products for the metal finishing industry. In her seven years with the company, she has earned several awards including contributor of the year and rookie of the year. In 2019, she became KYZEN’s Application Lab Manager, the first woman to hold the title.
Utilizing her award-winning skills, Jewell has developed three successful products and implemented numerous processes used around the world for precision parts cleaning. She has a degree in chemical engineering and enjoys her time in the lab. “Sometimes change and innovation will cause a problem with cleaning,” she says. “But that’s what I enjoy the most — fixing those problems.”
