China-based PCB manufacturer Wus Printed Circuit (Kunshan) has estimated a 124-154% rise in revenues for the first half of 2019 compared to a year earlier, with net profit reaching between CNY440 million ($64 million) and CNY500 million, according to Digitimes.
Wus Kunshan manufactures multilayer and HDI PCBs for use in applications ranging from network equipment, automotive, communication, consumer electronics, to aerospace. A pull-in of orders for 5G base station equipment led to the positive performance of Wus during the six-month period.
The company estimated second-quarter net profit of CNY278-338 million, representing a significant jump compared with the CNY162 million reported for the prior first quarter.
