StratEdge president and CEO Tim Going has been selected as a finalist for the 2019 CEO of the Year Award in the Privately Held Company category. Sponsored by the San Diego Business Journal, the award recognizes San Diego's local industry leaders' great achievements within their companies and in the community.
Going has been with StratEdge for 24 years; taking on the role of CEO in 2004. He has 40 years of experience in the semiconductor and microelectronics industries. Going has led StratEdge through several challenging business cycles, accurately predicting technology trends within the compound semiconductor community and helping to develop solutions required for advanced technologies. Almost half of the employees have been with the company for over 15 years. Customers include companies involved with aerospace, telecommunications, test and measurement, military, and clean energy. StratEdge high-frequency packages are used in the communications systems of the Mars rovers, including the upcoming Mars 2020 vehicle.
