atg Luther & Maelzer GmbH, confirms the order and installation of high-speed bare board testing technology for leading New England supplier of precision engineered parts to the medical device, aerospace, and instrumentation industries; including photo-etch and rigid-flex circuits.
The atg A5NEO, 8-head, double-sided, high-speed, high-accuracy flying probe test system has been ordered and installed by Tech-Etch, Inc. of Plymouth, MA. The new acquisition will enable Tech-Etch to expand capacity for its leading edge circuit technology while continuing its tradition of investment in its quality manufacturing program.
atg’s A5NEO testers utilize 8 test heads, four optical recognition systems, and a wide variety of advanced, high-speed electrical test measurement techniques to electrically test all types of PCB’s for continuity and isolation; including Flex and Ridged-Flex. The systems will test circuits up to 630 mm x 465 mm, with test points as small as 75 μm on 150 μm pitch. Special options, such as 4-wire Kelvin test, Hi-pot test, Latent defect test, and others can be provided.
