Andrew Murrietta, CEO and co-owner of Murrietta Circuits, announced that his company has appointed Kevin McCartney to the position of business development manager. Located in the Southeast, Mr. McCartney will be handling key accounts in that region as well as select national accounts. He will also have responsibility for building and managing a network of professional independent sales representatives.
With a background of leading sales forces for a number of companies including JQ Associates, SMT Haute Industries and DBG Technology Co., Ltd., McCartney has a great deal of experience in regional, national and international business development in both PCB and PCBA sales.
Mr. Murrietta said about McCartney when making the appointment, “We felt that now that we have all of our qualifications and registrations in place, particularly our most recent NACAP qualification, it was time to start putting together a world class national sales team of strong independent reps and we chose Kevin because with his diverse background. He is the right person to put that team together for us.”
McCartney commented, “I feel that the time is right, with a company that has all of the technology and capabilities that Murrietta has, to get out in front of as many qualified customers as possible. I think customers, especially those in medical electronics and defense and aerospace, are looking to work with a company that can provide them with design, fabrication, and assembly all under one roof. My immediate outreach is to the medical electronics industry across the nation to find ways for Murrietta Circuits to help those companies ramp up medical supply production in this time of shortages, especially since Murrietta has a great deal of experience in that field, have their ISO-13485 medical certification and the ability to ramp up very quickly. I look forward to working with Andy and the rest of the team.”
