electronica India, productronica India and MatDispens 2020 Canceled
September 22, 2020 | electronica IndiaEstimated reading time: 1 minute

Due to the still strong spread of COVID-19 in India and the stringent travel restrictions imposed by the Government, Messe Muenchen India feels compelled to cancel its trade fairs electronica India, productronica India and MatDispens 2020, originally scheduled from September 23–25, at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC) in Bengaluru.
Taking this measure, Messe Muenchen India has assumed its responsibility for the health and safety of its stakeholders, exhibitors and visitors. The decision was also based on industry feedback received through the extensive survey conducted by the organizer.
Bhupinder Singh, CEO Messe Muenchen India, says, “Unfortunately, owing to the current situation and restrictions enforced by the Government of India on travel and mass-gatherings, it is not possible for us to successfully hold our trade fairs in September. The health and safety of everyone involved in the trade fairs is our prime concern. We will now put our energy into organizing a successful electronica India, productronica India and MatDispens 2021.”
Falk Senger, Managing Director of Messe München, adds: “As trade fair organizers we have to adapt our plans to the dynamic situation caused by the pandemic. We would not have been able to meet the expectations of our participants and had to rethink our plans. Messe Muenchen India is treading responsibility for the benefit of all concerned.”
The next electronica India, productronica India and MatDispens will be held in autumn 2021.
