Enics CEO Elke Eckstein Elected to IPC Board of Directors

President and CEO Elke Eckstein was elected to the Board of Directors of IPC, the global association for electronics manufacturing, at the 64th IPC Annual Meeting on March 9.
“IPC is helping the world build electronics better – developing standards, providing education, and advocating for opportunities in our industry. IPC serves the interests of the entire supply chain: from OEMs to EMS companies and material suppliers to PCB fabricators, representing all parts of the Globe.
In my work as a member of IPC’s Board of Directors I want to strengthen the electronics industry in Europe and globally, and promote low-cost, high-quality manufacturing for highly complex industrial electronics products. Besides these, acceleration of sustainability in the electronics industry is a key focus area for me.
Close involvement in IPC will bring both me, as well as Enics more influence on standards and training, as well as engagement and networking opportunities. This ensures we can both contribute to the success of our industry as well as gain from the best practices developed in our electronics ecosystem.”
