Rehm's Trade Fair Presence at Nepcon China
March 30, 2021 | Rehm Thermal SystemsEstimated reading time: 2 minutes

Finally getting a taste of "trade fair air" again: Rehm Thermal Systems will be presenting itself at Nepcon China in Shanghai at the end of April, where it will be showing several systems from its product portfolio as well as further developments in plant and process technology. Rehm has made a name for itself on the Asian electronics market in recent years. Nepcon China is one of the major trade fairs in the Asian electronics industry and will take place from 21 to 23 April World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai. Rehm Thermal Systems will be exhibiting in Hall 1, Stand 1G40 with a VisionXP+ Vac convection soldering system, a CondensoXS smart vapor phase soldering system, a Protecto painting system and the Nexus contact soldering system.
The convection soldering systems of the Vision series stand for best quality and highest flexibility. The highlights of the VisionXP+ Vac are the EC fan motors, which make the system not only noticeably quieter but also more sustainable, as well as more stable and simplified temperature profiling. Each zone can be heated as well as cooled. This additionally enables an always energetically optimal condition as well as an optimal zone separation. A new chamber design and a newly developed cooling section also contribute to the sustainability of the plant, and the modular and adaptive residue management system (MARS) provides optimal collection and separation of residues.
In the development of the CondensoXS smart condensation soldering system, the main focus was placed on the process chamber - where the highest process reliability with a continued small footprint is paramount. The new chamber design with a vertically opening or closing chamber ensures optimal hermetic sealing and flexible integration into existing or new productions through manual, but also automatic loading and unloading processes. The modified opening mechanism improves the reliability and durability of the system many times over.
The Protecto series for dispensing and coating offers flexible material application options: depending on requirements, the customer can choose between the ProtectoXP or ProtectoXC and thus configure the optimum system for his production. Years of process and production know-how mean that Rehm Thermal Systems can also offer its customers its own developments in the area of applicators and their successful implementation in the system. With the help of the ViCON Protecto system software, there are only a few steps between the assembly layout and the final coating.
The Nexus contact vacuum soldering system has been further optimised through the selection of new materials and on the basis of years of market experience. The component surface is activated by various process gases up to hydrogen combinations. An integrated bubbler system ensures optimal doping with the predominant use of formic acid and is also implemented in the system close to the process. The components are in a fixed position during the entire soldering process in the Nexus and are therefore not in motion. The Nexus also convinces with the largest working area on the market - for the most economical and flexible requirements.
